Semester Exam Memo for Parents
Winter Assessments/Surveys Update
The ASVAB testing was cancelled on Friday. The administrator who was scheduled to come and give the assessment was unable to come to our school. We will send out more information about when it will be rescheduled as soon as we have it.
All 9th-11th Grade Students will take the Winter Benchmark iReady Math and Reading Diagnostic Assessment beginning Monday, December 9th. This is the benchmark testing that we use to determine placements in Reading or Math Intervention, so please stress to your child the importance of taking these assessments seriously and doing their best!
All high school students will take the Panorama Winter Benchmark Survey next week during Advisory.
Second Semester Schedule Change Requests
As second semester is quickly approaching, Mr. Viola will be sending out a reminder to all students that any schedule changes for second semester are due to him by December 20th, prior to leaving for Christmas Break.
NBHS Student Council Student of the Month for November - Braiden Matthiesen
Congratulaitons, Braiden! Here is what his nominator had to say about him:
Braiden has been so helpful to me this year. Yes, he's the President of the Spanish Club, and he has a lot of duties that go along with that, but he always goes above and beyond his duties. I know that I can count on him to get things done. He takes the initiative, and he always does whatever he does to the best of his abilities. He's also a teaching assistant in my Spanish I class. He helps out with leading games, and he does such a great job! I think he'd make a fantastic teacher. I appreciate all of his efforts. On top of all of that, he's just a great student. He cares about his performance and genuinely wants to learn. He's helpful to those around him. In my teaching career, I'd consider Braiden as one of my top students, for sure.

The sports boosters has agreed to help coaches with 8th grade nights and Senior nights by providing cup cakes and drinks for the team and flowers for the 8th graders/Seniors. If you would like to help the Sports Boosters with this, contact Renee Cooper for more information.
