Barnes & Noble Book Fair
There was also a tie for the classroom with the most participation: Mrs. Piccinetti and Ms. Pomponio's class both had 50% class participation and won an extra gym class from Mr. Wright! Congratulations!
A big thank you and job well done to Mrs. Millevoi & Mrs. Piccinetti for their hard work on this special project!
Mrs. Tryon
Hi! My name is Mrs. Tryon and I teach third grade here at Tawanka. I have taught 3rd grade for 18 of my 21 years at Neshaminy. I especially love to teach Science and Technology. Helping Mr. Barber with our “Tawanka’s Got Talent” show is one of my highlights of every school year. When I am not at school, I am at home spending time with my husband, two children, and my two dogs.
Math Challenge #15
Students who completed 10 or more challenges will receive a certificate in June!
Great work, everyone!
Miss Trotta
Kindergarten has been working hard! As a bonus to our Alphabet Count Down, Miss Trotta's class earned Glow Stick Day for G! We had a lot of fun working in class all day using our glow stick necklaces and bracelets! We can't wait to celebrate a different letter each day!
Mrs. Banks
Mrs. Neff
The children in Mrs. Neff's class grew seeds hydroponically in plastic bags.
After a week we transfer them into soil so they would get the nutrients and sun that they need to grow.
We planted honeydew, flower and green bean seeds. The children were amazed at the way that the seeds sprouted!
Mrs. Reichert
Research fun!

Safety of all students and staff is a top priority at Tawanka, so we have strict safety procedures in place. A reminder of the following:
Early Dismissals: Please notify the teacher if your child will be picked up early. If being picked up by someone other than a parent/guardian, please specify who will be picking up your child. Students will only be released to individuals listed on the emergency card, but the office must be notified prior to pick-up. Students must be signed out in the main office. Again, driver's license or state issued ID is required to pick up a student. We strongly encourage early dismissals be no later than 3:00 pm.
