Weekly Message
I hope everyone had a nice break!
Itβs hard to believe, but weβre in the final two-month stretch of the school year! As we enter this homestretch, I want to take a moment to thank each of you for your incredible dedication, heart, and resilience throughout the year.
Letβs continue to keep our momentum going and finish strong. These last months are about solidifying progress, keeping high expectations, and showing our students that we finish what we startβwith excellence and pride.
Remember:
- Keep holding the line with routines and expectations
- Keep focusing on instruction and meaningful growth
- Keep collaborating and leaning on each other
- And most of allβkeep taking care of yourselves and each other
Every minute counts. Every moment matters. Letβs make these last weeks powerful for our kids and fulfilling for ourselves.
Finally, lets wish all our Elementary and Middle school students taking NYS ELA exams this week the very best of luck! Thank you to all the teachers who have supported our students all year in this process.

Coaches Corner
I would like to take a moment to highlight the extraordinary work being done by the P177Q- 8:1:1 teachers at Martin Van Buran. Mr. Gupta, Ms. Firestone, Ms. Cornwell, and Ms. Piquant have made this transition incredibly smooth. Their collaboration and resource-sharing have greatly enhanced the experience for students and the entire team.
This year marks our first attempt at a departmental approach, and the results have been remarkable. Students are rotating between the PAES lab, as well as Math, Science, vocational training, and ELA classes. The efforts of our teachers in sharing resources and collaborating have truly paid off.
Keep up the excellent work!"
- Abir Bousaid, School Based Coach
