Setting Up an eWallet
Follow the link below to get more information about setting up an e Wallet for your student (and of course we also accept cash and credit cards)
For the months of November and December we are focusing on thankfulness. We are encouraging students to participate by going for a black out bingo. A black out is where instead of just getting five in a row for a normal bingo you try and fill in every single square. Once completed, please turn in your thankfulness bingo sheet with your name and your teachers name on it by the high five fish tank. Any student who turns in a thankfulness bingo board will be entered to win a prize at our next school assembly.
Sharing Tree
It’s time for our annual Sharing Tree at Crater.
Every year we have an opportunity to help some of our families at Crater who could use a helping hand right now.
Here’s how it works: At school, there is a tree with paper ornaments labeled with specific pantry items (like pancake mix, potatoes, etc.).
Students may choose ornaments to take home, purchase those items and return the items to school. If you are unable to purchase the items please return the tag to the tree so someone else may take it.
All items need to be returned by Wednesday, Dec. 18th so family boxes can be packed on Thursday.
Thanks for making a difference and caring for our Crater Community! We love to help others!
If you’d like to request a food box for your family this year please fill out the Google Form using this link: Winter Break Supports Google Form
or call our counselor, Jennifer Bass 503-554-4973 or email: bassj@newberg.k12.or.us
Holiday Treats For Staff
Let’s show our Crater Elementary staff some love this December! Each year, we love to stock their break room with coffee, snacks, and treats to keep them feeling appreciated all month long. We would love it if you’ll help us treat them this December. Our goal is to be able to start stocking the room by December 2nd and we will replenish throughout the month of December before break.
You can sign up to bring items via SignUpGenius: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/30E0C44ACA82EA5FD0-53407680-holiday

Please note that Newberg-Dundee Public Schools will not be accepting free and reduced-price meal applications for as long as the CEP is in place to provide one free breakfast and one free lunch every school day to children. CEP will run through the 2026-27 school year. It ends in June of 2027.
