A Message from our Principal
Happy December, Washington Families!
As we approach Thanksgiving, I want to express my sincere gratitude for our amazing students, dedicated staff, and supportive families. Your hard work, enthusiasm, and commitment have made this year a truly special one. I'm incredibly proud of the accomplishments of our students, from academic achievements to acts of kindness. Together, we've created a positive and nurturing learning environment where everyone feels valued and supported.
We're excited to kick off the holiday season with a focus on empathy. This month, our students will learn about the importance of understanding and sharing the feelings of others. We'll be incorporating empathy-building activities into our daily routines, and we encourage you to practice empathy at home as well.
Winter Recess Reminder: Please remember to dress your child in warm winter clothing as we approach our winter recess. Coats, snow pants, hats, gloves, and boots are essential for staying warm and comfortable.
Celebrating Together: We're looking forward to celebrating and building community this month with some fun dress-up days and an all-school assembly. Student dress up days are:
Monday December 16th: Hideous Holiday Wear
Tuesday December 17th: Holiday Headwear
Wednesday December 18th: Dress Your Best
Thursday December 19th: Lights & Bells
Friday December 20th: Comfy Day
