Titans' Times

Next week will be our FIRST whole week of School; we have much fun planned as part of our "Welcome Spirit Week." The students have been encouraged to participate in the fun theme days, and there will be a special challenge for the class with the MOST participation. Mrs. Moylan will also be selling ICE CREAM for $2, The proceeds from the ice cream sales go to our POSITIVE PLAYGROUND fund that buys new fun playground items to play with outdoors.

The new Legal Titans students will be invited to a special lunchtime event next Tuesday, where they will get a yummy ice cream sundae! We look forward to getting to know these Titans more!

New school routines can be challenging, and it is understandable for your child to feel some nervousness as they adjust to their new routine. One strategy to help your child feel connected throughout the school day is by giving them something small, such as a message in their lunchbox, to let them know that you are thinking of them throughout the day. A small gesture like this can make meaningful and positive ripples in your child’s day. Check out the Confidence-Boosting Lunch Box Notes from Big Life Journal below. These notes can be a helpful way for you to share those words of encouragement with your child, even when you are not around.

Confidence-Boosting Lunch Box Notes

On Tuesday, Elementary students participated in their first Titans Block. During this block on Tuesday afternoons, our students can choose what activity they would like to participate in, with various staff members running the activities throughout the school. This week the students participated in puzzles, stamping cards, beading, pop art, maker space challenge: building their dream school, chess, yoga and floor hockey.

During these blocks our teachers to have division-level collaborative response planning and meetings. We look forward to these Titans Blocks three times a month for the elementary students and twice a month for the Junior High students.

All items are custom-made and cannot be returned. Sizing charts can be found in the images for each item. The online store will close on Sept 22nd. Delivery will be to the school.

Sale is based on product availability from the suppliers and store minimums being met, all purchases will be reviewed when the store is closed. Customers will be contacted if there are any issues we can not resolve.

The School Learning Team from the office (including Mrs. Webb, Mrs. Crowston, Miss Josey, Mrs. Morin & Mrs. Kleparchuk) will have an ice cream sundae social during lunch for our elementary and junior high students new to Legal School on September 12th! It will be a great way to see how the students are doing. Please know that if you are new to Legal School and still have questions, you may reach out to our office anytime!

A HUGE thank you to Mrs. Tymchuk for leading the yearbook team and ensuring that it looks so fabulous, as well as Emma B. in grade 9 for all of her work and dedication! We are so grateful for their efforts to complete this for our Titans' Families.
