Loveland Update

We are excited to announce our upcoming spirit week in support of the Loveland Launch fundraiser! This is a wonderful opportunity for our students to show their school spirit while also helping to raise funds for Loveland Launch.

• Monday, September 23rd: Jersey Day: Be a team player and support the Loveland Launch!

• Tuesday, September 24th: Dress Your Best and support Loveland Launch!

• Wednesday, September 25th: Neon Day: Brighten our future by donating to the Loveland Launch!

• Thursday, September 26th: Camo Day: Don’t camouflage your kindness for the Land of Love. Donate to the Loveland Launch!

• Friday, September 27th: Show your support for Loveland Launch by dressing in Loveland gear/blue gear.

We will be offering 20 minute in-person or WebEx parent teacher communication meetings. We hope this process will be convenient for you, and our teachers, for scheduling the meetings online. Communication meetings will be held on:

• Wednesday, Oct 9th, 2024 from 3:20 PM to 7:40PM

• Thursday, October 10th, 2024 from 8:00AM to 3:40PM

The Sign-up Genius portal will be open for scheduling at 3:30 P.M. on Friday, September 13, 2024. The portal will be discontinued on Oct. 4th at 5:00PM. Please click on the teacher’s links below to schedule your parent teacher communication meeting.

We are excited to share that we have reached 51.9% of our goal for the Loveland Launch school fundraiser! With one week remaining, we are working hard to reach our final goal of $21,000.

CREDIT CARD: If you are donating $250 or more, the Westside Foundation also accepts donations at https://wcsfoundation66.org/support/. Click on the “Elementary School Donation” box and in the “Designate my gift to” dropdown menu select “Loveland Donation.” Please also put “Loveland Launch” in the Gift memo section.

CASH OR CHECK: Please use the attached envelope to submit a cash or check donation. If sending cash, please send your donation to school with your student or drop it off in person. Checks can be sent with students, mailed in, or dropped off by you.

• If writing a check, please make it payable to “Loveland Community Club”
• If you are writing a check for $250 or more, please make checks payable to “Westside Foundation.” Those monies will remain at Loveland, but you will also receive a tax deduction letter from the Westside Foundation.

If your student is dropping off an envelope, remind them to grab a prize at morning drop off!

School picture day is Friday, October 4th. Order your school pictures today! You now have the convenience to place an online order for school pictures. Please use this link https://martinphotography.hhimagehost.com/V2/Home/Index to place your order. Order forms will be sent closer to picture day. Only one method (online or paper) of order placement is needed. All students will be photographed but only orders placed will be charged. Thank you!

Dear Loveland Families,

We are excited to announce our School Book Fair will be taking place during Parent-Teacher Conferences, and we need your help! We are looking for volunteers to assist with the fair, and any time you can give would be greatly appreciated.

Your support will help our school library gain more books for our students, enriching their reading experiences and fostering a love for literature.

Dear Loveland Families,

This week on September 19th, 2024, we conducted an inside emergency drill at Loveland Elementary. The purpose of this drill was to ensure that all students are familiar with our safety procedures and know where to go in the event of an inside emergency.

Our students did a wonderful job following directions and moving calmly to their designated areas. These drills are an important part of keeping our school community safe and prepared.
