If you are interested in parking in the front lot this year, here are a few important dates you need to be aware of. We are going to assign spots this year, so when you login to the sign-up genius, you will pick your parking stall. There will be a map for reference so you know where stalls are located. There will be 110 available and the cost of parking is $35/semester.

Login information emailed to seniors on August 13th
Sign-up Genius open from 6:00 AM - 11:59 PM on Thursday, August 15th
Students are allowed to purchase 1 permit. They may not sign up for another student.
Parking permits are NON-TRANSFERABLE; they cannot be sold or given to someone else.
Seniors who miss the initial sign-up will have to enter into the lottery with the underclassmen.
Students will be notified of approval for parking on August 20th.
Fees will be entered into IC and parking rules and regulations google form will be emailed to approved students on August 20th.
Only students will be able to access the form using their school google account. Parents will not receive this email nor will they have access to the form. The student must complete the form and agree to abide by the parking rules and regulations.
Students must pay the fee and submit the google form prior to picking up the parking pass. NO EXCEPTIONS.
ALL passes must be picked up or arrangements for pick up made no later than August 29th at 3:30 PM. Passes will not be held past 3:30 PM on August 29th unless the fee has been paid AND the form has been completed.
Any passes not picked up or stalls not signed up for will go into a lottery for underclassmen.
Sign up by underclassmen for any remaining stalls will be done via a google form starting August 15th. Watch your email.
If there are any stalls left for the lottery, the random drawing will take place on Friday, September 6th, at the end of the day.
Senior Release Information & Application
If you didn't apply for senior release before school let out last June, start the process now, so it is on your schedule the first day of school. You can start using senior release once it appears on your schedule. If you aren't sure if you applied, contact your associate principal for verification.
To be eligible for senior release you must meet the criteria listed here.
To apply for senior release, please complete this form for first semester of the 24-25 school year. You are only allowed to take two blocks of senior release per year. If your application is approved, you will hear from the admin staff.
The McFarland High School Student Council will hold their first meeting on Tuesday, August 27th, from 6-8pm in Ms. Bazan's classroom, Room 210, on the second floor. ALL students are welcome, grades 9-12! This meeting is to choose Homecoming themes and start planning, so come make your voice heard!

Parents,PLEASE REPORT ALL ATTENDANCE IN INFINITE CAMPUS.You are able to enter your request directly into IC at any time of day,even for short notice or late requests. (Instructions). If you are concerned that the office staff is not receiving your IC absence request, please make sure you allow push notifications for the Infinite Campus app on your phone. Once the IC request is processed you will get a notification.
