As part of the reorganization of the Clark County School District, each year our school will form a School Organizational Team (SOT) that includes four parents and/or guardians. Members will be elected by a vote of the parents and guardians at Boulder City High School. Your input is important to the success of our school and our students, and it is an opportunity to collaborate on decisions we make for the school. Please take time to consider how you can be involved in this process and represent your community on the BCHS SOT. NOMINATE

Parents and/or guardians of all students will receive a Parentlink email on Monday, September 9, 2024, with a Google Survey link to fill out if they are interested in nominating themselves or another parents. The form will also be on the website at bouldercityhighschool.com. Nomination process will close at 12:00pm on Friday, September 13th.

VOTE

Elections will take place during the week of September 16th. Those who chose to move forward with the nomination will be placed on the official SOT Ballot which will be sent via a Google Survey for all parents/guardians to vote during the week of September 16-20. Parents/Guardians will be notified of election results on September 25th.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Begin attending training and meetings in October 2024
  • Serve on the team through September 30, 2025, unless your child no longer attends the school.
  • Attend meetings at least once per month, outside of school hours.
  • Make decisions with the whole school population in mind.
  • Work collaboratively and attempt to reach consensus with the team.
