Parents are encouraged to login to Harmony accounts and provide any updates regarding your student’s preferred name, address, and or contact information.

Did you know that parents are able to sign up to receive automatic text messages/email updates for your student’s attendance, grades, and progress reports?

1. Simply login to your Harmony account.

2. Scroll to the bottom to find “My Notification Profile”

3. Select each of the items that you would like to receive updates on and how often you would like to be notified..

From now until the end of the school year, several forms will need to be filled out for events during the second half of the year, along with an information update form. When receiving the forms, take note of the deadlines for information to be submitted. The Wings to Soar monthly newsletter, sent out at the end of the month, has information on events that are coming up during the month and dates of items scheduled for the remainder of the year. The Cortland Eagle Express will have information about after-school and summer activity sign-ups as the information is provided to us. Make sure to avoid making appointments during school time during and ILEARN (3rd - 4th Gr) Cortland will be testing April 15 - April 24. (April 15 - May 10) testing window dates.

• Make sure to get plenty of rest.

• Start each morning with a good breakfast.

• Arrive at school in plenty of time to start your day.

• Relax and do your very best each day.

If you are taking your child for a doctor’s appointment please make sure to turn in the doctor’s note to the office.

• Turn in when you bring your child to school

• Send the note with your child the following day

• Take a picture of the note and email it to Mrs. Kleber kleberb@scsc.k12.in.us

• Doctor’s office can fax a copy of the note 812-522-6164.

If your child has been tested for Strep, Flu or Covid, this note will let us know when your child is able to return to school.

Meal account reminders will be sent to parents via email on Fridays if your child's meal account goes below $10

If you struggle to remember to scan your receipts, go to the communication settings under your account and set up scan reminders, you can customize them to match your shopping routine!

Seymour Community School Corporation is committed to the safety of our students and staff. Our continued partnership with Seymour Police Department allows for the presence of 5 School Resource Officers at our school sites. School Resource Officers are at all school sites at various times during the school day and school events. The School Resource Officers provide campus security and educational opportunities for our students and staff.
