Parents,

As we continue to be diligent about providing a safe school environment for our students, please review the below visitor expectations:

1. Check in at the office and wear a visitor's badge.

2. When eating lunch, only interact with your student. Other students are not allowed to come over to the parent lunch table to eat with visitors who are not their guardians.

3. Visitors are only permitted to interact with students approved of as a guardian.

4. All visitors are expected to demonstrate the highest standards of courtesy and conduct.

5. Disruptive behavior or violations of student privacy will not be permitted.

• Every year parents must provide a proof of residency documentation for students by uploading it on-line or turning in a copy to the office.
• ALL students must turn in current immunizations (uploaded on-line or turned into the office.)

Please help your child be successful by ensuring they are at school on time every day! Check Home Access Center to find out your student's grades, missing assignments, or any work he or she might need to re-do for a better grade. KISD policy permits students to request a redo of any failing assignment within 10 days of the due date for that assignment.

Parents may bring treats or snacks in to celebrate birthdays with the entire class. Cupcakes and treats are shared at the end of the school day after 2:00 p.m. Students may not be provided food of minimal nutritious value during the breakfast or lunch period.

Breakfast will be free for all students in the 2022-23 school year.

Lunch will not be free this school year. Please apply for free and reduced lunch at the "School Nutrition" department page on the Killeen ISD website. The price of lunch is $2.75 for each student this school year.

Students may buy items a la carte at lunch time. The price of items is below:

Tardy policy will be effective starting Tuesday, September 6, 20222. Students must be in their classroom ready to learn by the first bell-7:30 a.m. If a student arrives after 7:30 a.m. please walk them into the office to sign in at office. Students need to be at school daily as much as possible from the first bell to the dismissal bell to maximize their learning time. Thanks for making sure your students arrive at school on time Traffic flow is high at 7:25 a.m. in the front drop off lane. To prevent your student from being late, you may want to plan to be at school between 7:10-7:20 so that students have time to walk into their classroom.

Please send your student to school with a water bottle every day. We have bottle filler water fountains which greatly reduces spreading germs at school.
