Skyview MARCH Family News
Skyview Eagle Families,
Happy MARCH!!! As we step into the vibrant months of March and April, I am filled with gratitude for our wonderful school community!🌸 It’s a time of renewal, growth, and exciting opportunities for our students. We are pushing hard as each and every day are important to finalizing and firming up the learning for your child(ren). Marking Period 3 ends on Friday, March 14th. Please review your child's grades with them in FOCUS (Grades 1st-5th).
As we approach Spring Break the week of March 17th, we want to ensure that this time off is both restful and enriching. Here are some ways to make the most of this rejuvenating break:
1. Balancing Rest and Academics: Spring Break is a necessary and much-welcome pause, but it’s also not as lengthy as winter or summer breaks. While you enjoy quality time with family and friends, consider setting aside moments for self-care and academic progress. Remember, a well-rested mind is a more productive one!
2. Plan Ahead with Clever: Our scholars can stay engaged even during the break. Clever, our trusted platform, provides a gateway to a world of web-based learning opportunities. Encourage your child to engage in interactive activities. Whether it’s brushing up on math skills through Dreambox or diving into reading on iStation, Clever has it all.
3. Reading Adventures with myOn: We believe that reading is a superpower! myOn helps promote interest-driven, authentic reading experiences. During Spring Break, we encourage all students to dive into captivating books using myOn's vast digital library. Let imaginations soar, and let the pages transport our scholars to new worlds.
Wishing you all a delightful Spring Break filled with sunshine, laughter, and a touch of academic adventure! 🌼
I want to express my heartfelt appreciation for the active involvement of our parents, caregivers, and families. Your support and partnership are invaluable.
Field Day for Kg-5th is Friday, March 14th. Kg-2nd will be in the morning. 3rd-5th will be in the afternoon. Three adult volunteers may help with their child's class during Field Day. You must coordinate with your child's teacher and be a registered volunteer.
