Preschool 3 News
Week of March 3rd-7th, 2025
Dear Parents,
Thank you for joining us this past Friday during learning fair. It was a wonderful event, celebrating all the hard work the preschoolers put into their projects. I'm sure parents were proud to see their kids' creativity and learning on display. It has been so rewarding to see all that hard work come together.
What students will be learning this week:
- This week theme: Dr. Seuss. Don't forget to wear your favorite hat on Monday!
- Fine motor skills (Daily journals/hands-on activities and crafts).
- Name practice (Recognize the letters of their name and pre-writing).
- Heggerty help students develop early literacy skills (This week focus on letter "V", rhyming words, identify initial sounds and story time, reading comprehension). Alphabet/Letter recognition/Letter formation).
- Math (Number recognition 1-10/one-to-one correspondence/sort objects by color, shape, size) Through play and interactive activities students will develop this skill.
- Jesus Time (Jesus eats with Zacchaeus).
π A Peek About Last Week π
Students learned the importance of recycling and reducing waste by using everyday items to create something new. Crafting with small items like bottle caps, paper, or cardboard helps preschoolers improve their hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills.
Here is all the amazing work that students were working on all week.
