After Spring Break we begin state accountability testing. Please make sure that your student is at school on time on the following dates:

Thursday 4/10: PSAT Testing for 8th graders only. See the full schedule and information here.

• 7th grade students report at 10:45am

• 8th grade students MUST be on time to school or they will not be able to test and will be sent home until 10:55am.

Thursday 4/24: MSTEP for 7th and 8th grade. Testing will run from 7:40 - 10:55am.

Thursday 5/1: MSTEP for 7th and 8th grade. Testing will run from 7:40 - 10:55am.

Please remember that 8th grade students must pass 9 of 12 core classes (English, Math, Science, Social Studies) to be eligible to participate in 8th Grade Crossover and 8th Grade Celebration at the end of the school year. Please be sure to check your student’s grades to see their progress.

** Crossover will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd at 1pm in the LMS Gymnasium. The 8th grade Celebration will follow from 3-5pm. **

The deadline for applications is June 5th. Deadline for camp registration should be noted. Additional requests for financial assistance may be on an as needed basis.

There will be a mandatory meeting on May 7th at 7 pm in the cafeteria at LMS. Parents, students, and chaperons MUST attend the meeting.

We need your help to rebuild our Spartan Closet! In the past, our Spartan Closet held gently used clothes for any student who may need a change of clothes during the school day. If you have items that are no longer needed and you wish to donate them to our closet, our students would appreciate any and all you donate.

Gently Used Clothing for 5th-8th graders

• T-shirts
• Sweatshirts
• Sweatpants
• Leggings
• Jeans, etc.

New Items that would be appreciated:

• Underwear
• Socks

Hygiene Items

• Small travel size deodorants
• Toothbrushes and toothpaste

Please check your student's skyward account for any balances owed for chromebook fees or repairs, athletic fees, library book fines or any other fee or fine.

8th grade students who are not paid in full by Friday, May 16th will not be able to participate in crossover.

Fees and fines may be paid with cash or check in the office or via schoolpay.com with debit or credit card.

Warming shelters open during any time the temperature is below 20 degrees. This includes overnight, and in both shelters.

All middle school students MUST be accompanied by THEIR parent or guardian to enter a game. Students who arrive without their parent or guardian will be turned away at the gate, and will not be allowed to enter.

Doors will open half an hour prior to athletic events.

• No backpacks allowed
• Middle School students must be accompanied by a parent
• During the game, students must be in the stands
• After games, students will have 15 minutes to clear the facilities.
• Students are expected to be respectful and follow the rules and directions from adults who are supervising events

Gate prices:

HS Games- $7.00 per person - HS students free with school ID - kids 5 and under free

MS Games- $5 per person - kids 5 and under free
