Welcome to the 2023-2024 School Year

We are excited to welcome our staff and students back to Cascade High School for the 2023-2024 school year! We look forward to a fantastic school year filled with a joy for learning. The first student day for this school year is Friday, August 4, 2023. Students will be able to see their 1st period teachers listed in the hallways when they arrive at school Friday. They will go to 1st period and will be issued their full schedules and locker information in 1st period class. The rest of the day will proceed on a normal bell schedule. A copy of the regular bell schedule appears below. Please remember to complete online registration for the 2023-2024 school year, if you have not already done so. You may find the online registration link at mccsc.k12.in.us

Picture Day

School picture day at Cascade High School will be Tuesday, August 8, 2023. All students will be photographed for the yearbook that day. This picture will also be the photo used for transcripts and the senior composite picture. We ask that juniors and seniors look especially nice that day for photos (a shirt and tie is recommended for the gentlemen). Families may order pictures from Cripe Photography. The following information concerning ordering is from Cripe Photography.


PRE-ORDERING for Cascade High School Picture Day is now open! To order with a debit or credit card, please follow the link below. All pre-ordering will close after Tuesday, August 8, 2023. You do not need to turn in any receipt or form for an online order. If you need to pay by cash or check, the office will have an order form available. Proof ordering will be available 4-6 weeks after photo day once packages have been delivered.

New Staff

We welcome Rachel Morris to our teaching staff this year. Mrs. Morris will be teaching art at Cascade High School. She comes to us after teaching for the past few years at Decatur Central High School. We are excited to have Mrs. Morris join our Cascade High School Teaching Family!

Hendricks County Community Foundation Scholarship Information

The Hendricks County Community Foundation administers over 25 scholarship funds, as well as the Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship Program for our county. These scholarships are funded by donors who believe in higher education and supporting Hendricks County high school seniors in degree attainment.

Application Process and Requirements

HCCF scholarship applications are completed online and all use the same application. Applications for the Class of 2024 will open on August 2, 2023 and will close on August 30, 2023.

The following requirements must be met to complete the application process in the future:

  1. Applicant must be a Hendricks County resident.*

  2. Applicant provides contact information, education, activities, employment and a personal statement

  3. Applicant completes the application online truthfully and in its entirety by the deadline

*The Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship Program is open to non-Hendricks County residents IF they both 1) attend school in Hendricks County AND 2) are not eligible for the Lilly Scholarship in their home county because they attend school in Hendricks County.

Cascade High School PTO Information

Hendricks County Health Department Community Information

The Hendricks County Health Department would like to share the following opioid awareness checklist with all of you. Opioid abuse is a growing national, state, and local issue.

School Care Information

The Mill Creek Community School Corporation will be partnering with School Care this year to manage student health information. The letter below serves as an introduction to School Care.

Pets/Animals at School

Our school board policy prohibits pets/animals from being in our school or on school grounds, unless the animal has been approved ahead of time by administrators as a certified service or therapy animal. Please do not bring your dog or other pets into the school building or to any athletic event, including outdoor events. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.
