Last Newsletter of 23-24 School Year
It is hard to believe that this will be the last newsletter of the school year. What a year it has been. It is an absolute honor to spend my days with your childrenβ¦the best on the planet! Thank you, parents, for your constant support and encouragement. You make Crooked River excellent!! I am already looking forward to next year. π
Fund Run Pledges
All Fund Run pledges are due by the last day of school. However, we will be rewarding the top money raisers based on funds turned in by this Friday, June 7th. Prizes will be awarded to the top boy and girl runners per grade level and to the top 3 money raisers for the school. These students will be given prizes on the last day of school. We are really close to our $10,000 goal. Way to go!!
Field Day Next Wednesday
Next Wednesday, June 12th, we will be having a schoolwide Field Day from 8:30-10:30 am. Please feel welcome to join your child and enjoy the fun with us! This will be a great culminating activity and the more the merrier!
Family Survey
On Monday, you should have received a text message and/or e-mail with a family survey attached. Please take a few moments to fill it out. We would love your feedback. Thank you!
5th-Grade Run Thru
One of my favorite Crooked River end of the year traditions is when our 5th graders run thru our hallways at the end of the last day. What makes this better is having lots parents join us on the west playground. No matter what age your children are, please join us at 11:00 on June 13th. Bring any sort of noise makers you have. Letβs celebrate these kids big as they head off to middle school.
Report Cards Mailed Home
Please note that report cards will be mailed home on June 19th.
School Start Time
π π« π
School officially starts at 8:00, but we open our doors at 7:40, which is when buses also arrive. Teachers are in classrooms, greeting kids, helping with in-class breakfast, and getting students started on morning work. The closer to 7:40 your child can arrive, the better. Students who get to school after 8:00 miss the necessary class time. We appreciate your help.
