The Call
Oct. 7-11, 2024
Dear Colin Powell Academy Families,
We are excited to invite you to our Student-Led Conference Day on Monday, October 7th! This is a special opportunity for our students to take the lead in sharing their academic goals, learning progress, and areas of growth. Each student has created a personalized presentation that will be shared with you via SeeSaw. We encourage you to take some time to review your child’s work and celebrate their achievements.
Beginning at 9:00 am, we welcome you to join our grade-level Zoom links to meet virtually with your child’s teachers. During this time, you’ll have an opportunity to discuss any questions or topics related to your child’s learning journey and hear more about how we can partner to support their success. Following your time with teachers, students are welcome to enjoy lunch and movie via Zoom. Please find the link in your email.
Please remember that our doors are always open at Colin Powell Academy! If you’d like to schedule an in-person conference or classroom visit with your child’s teacher or administrator, we would be happy to arrange a time that works best for you. We believe that strong partnerships between families and the school are vital to our students’ success, and we are committed to maintaining open and supportive communication.
Thank you for your ongoing support, and we look forward to a meaningful day of student-led conversations!
Sincerely,
Ms. Lattimore, Principal
