Hungate Echo
Autumn Term 2, Week 6
A word from Mr Broom
The penultimate week of the Autumn Term is now over and what a week it has been. It was such a pleasure to see both the Nursery and Reception Christmas performances. The children were having so much fun and I also want to say a huge thank you to the teaching team who pulled it all together. If you came along, I hope you've memories to last a life time.
We had our Christmas Fair on Wednesday evening and I'd like to say thank you to the PFA and everyone involved in its success. Having a mix of outside and inside activities worked really well and there was chance to pick up some lovely gifts for Christmas too.
Next week, it's dress up for Christmas week and Mrs Crossley's amazing Christmas dinner! You can feel the excitement building and school is a great place to be right now.
Have a super weekend everyone.

A message from the PFA
We had a wonderful afternoon at this years Christmas Market!
There were lots of smiles and laughter and it was warming to experience it.
The stalls looked amazing with their beautiful wares & tasty treats.
Thank you so much to everyone who visited us and contributed to such a heartwarming event.
And HUGE thanks to Bex Williams and all members of the PFA and the teachers of Sherburn Hungate who could make it all happen.
All funds will go to the school to support our children and their families.

Regular Items - Now Echo Regulars
Following feedback from our parent governors, we've updated the way that the weekly Hungate Echo works so that it is sharper with information you need. A new newsletter, known as the Echo Regulars will contain all the most important regular information that our families may need. It has a permanent home on our website at the link below. Here you will find community events, regular reminders and key information. When I update it, I'll put a short line at the bottom of the Hungate Echo to let you know.
