Our sixth graders will be participating in the Leadership Camp this week. All students must turn in a permission slip to participate. Those students without a signed form will stay in the classroom. On September 27, the following classrooms will take part: Mrs. Watkins, Mrs. Hall, Mr. Siders, Mrs. Porter, Mrs. Goldsberry, and Mrs. Burns. Friday, September 28 it will the classrooms of Mrs. Muck, Mrs. Schleichert, Mrs. Bentley, Mrs. Griffith, Ms. Murphy, and Mr. McDonald. Be sure to remind your student to dress comfortably and wear tennis shoes.

Parent/Teacher conferences are coming in October. Forms will be coming home this week. Sign-ups are on a first come basis. Conference dates are Thursday, October 18, 4:15 - 7:45 pm, Monday, October 22, 11:00 - 7:00 pm and Thursday, October 25, 4:15 - 7:45 pm. Please note that there is no school on Monday, October 22 for K - 8 grades due to conferences.

Pickerington Local Schools are once again teaming up with the Violet Township Fire Department to provide some holiday assistance for families in need during the holiday season.

For those out and about during the holiday season, you may see big red boxes throughout the community and in the schools. If you would like to donate a new toy/gift this holiday season it can be placed in the big red boxes. Gift cards are also appreciated. If you would prefer to donate in other ways, please contact Mrs. Saksa, School Counselor.

If you would like to request a form for holiday assistance this year, contact Mrs. Saksa, at kelli-saksa@plsd.us or (614) 834-6400. The request form will then be provided to you, only one per household please. This form is handled in a confidential manner; however, the information will be shared with local agencies. The forms must be turned in by Monday, November 19, 2018.
