Returning Student Annual Registration
We are excited to announce that online registration for returning students will begin on July 18, 2024.
The link for Returning Student Registration will be made available in Ascender Parent Portal for the guardian listed as the student’s primary guardian in Parent Portal and should be completed as soon as possible. In order to access important details such as student schedules and homeroom teachers, families are required to complete Returning Student Registration online or in person.
To ensure a smooth registration process for the upcoming school year, please take note of the following important information:

In-Person Registration Assistance:
If you are unable to complete the registration online, we offer opportunities to register in person at Slayter Creek Middle School. Our friendly staff will be available to assist you during the following times:
- Monday, July 22: 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM
- Tuesday, July 23: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Bus Registration
Anna ISD students must register for transportation each school year if they plan to ride the bus to or from school. Bus registration for the 2024-2025 school year opens on July 8, 2024 at 8:00 AM.
If you register your child for transportation between July 8 and July 28, you will receive their bus route information by noon on July 31.
Students registered after July 28 may not be eligible to ride the bus during the first week of school.
Vaccination Clinic/School Immunizations
Passport Health & Staying Healthy Medical Services will be conducting a vaccination clinic to get students up to date for the school year.

July 23, 2024........8:00 AM - 12:00 PM
A printed current vaccine record or note from school stating missing vaccines is required. (Electronic proof cannot be accepted. A paper copy must be provided.)
A parent or guardian must be present.
This clinic provides vaccines exclusively to students aged 3-18 who attend Anna ISD. This should not replace any well-child checkups at the pediatrician.
Older children who resist shots and children with special needs cannot be seen given the nature of this clinic. Please refer to your pediatrician.
This clinic is being offered as a community service event and should not replace a visit to your pediatrician. Staff and supplies are limited so the clinic may be discontinued if supplies or time runs out. We cannot guarantee that everyone will be seen.
The following forms of payment are accepted:
- Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Humana & United Health Care PPO plans will be accepted.
- We cannot accept Aetna & Blue Cross Gold, Silver, or Bronze plans or HMO plans with any insurance company.
- A paper photocopy of the insurance card and driver’s license MUST be provided to receive vaccines at no charge. Electronic copies cannot be accepted.
- Medicaid/CHIP:
- No charge for vaccines. Must provide a paper photocopy of the card.
- UNINSURED:
- $10.00 PER VACCINE ($40 maximum per child.)
- CASH OR ZELLE ONLY PLEASE (We cannot accept bills over $20.)
Vaccines Available:
Chicken Pox, DtaP, Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, HIB, Meningitis (7th grade & college required), Meningitis B (recommended for college), MMR, Polio, Pneumonia and TDaP

Super Sign-Up Weekend for YMCA Afterschool Program
Get ready for Super Sign-Up Weekend from July 12 to 15, 2024! During these dates, the registration fee for the 2024-2025 school year will be 50% off. Don’t miss this opportunity to save on our afterschool program!

Program Times:
From school dismissal until 7:30 pm
Cost for 2024-2025:
- Registration Fee: $90 per child (non-refundable/non-transferable)
- Weekly Rates for YMCA Members/Non-Members:
- $73/week for Monday-Thursday only
- $95/week for Monday-Friday (Friday Full day 7:30 am - 7:30 pm)
- $45/week for Friday ONLY (Full day 7:30 am - 7:30 pm)
Friday programming will ONLY operate at Bryant and Rattan. Parents will need to drop off at the respective location. A morning snack and lunch will be provided on Fridays. The Friday program will run throughout the school year.
