Dear Clayton Families, I hope this letter finds you enjoying this precious time with your children and staying cool in this Texas heat! I am so pleased to welcome you to the 2022-23 school year. I officially came on board a few weeks ago and have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know our amazing educators and members of the Clayton community. I would like to acknowledge our Assistant Principals, Becky Phillips and William Myers, who are working hard to ensure our students are prepared and welcomed at Clayton. Please read more about them below. Our leadership team is deeply committed to making this an amazing year for your student and family.
My priorities for the coming weeks are to:
- review and update our school safety procedures to ensure our school is safe for all students and staff
- create meaningful opportunities to welcome our children back to school and build positive relationships
- provide helpful information to you, so that you and your student(s) feel informed and prepared to start a successful year
- support our teachers and equip them with the learning and resources they need
