Dear Davis Hill Community,
I hope that all in the DHCommunity had a restful winter break. We are looking forward to welcoming all of our DHDragons back on Monday!
The next period of the school year (End Feb-April Vacation) is eight weeks long and is a great opportunity for learning growth and consistency (as long as the weather cooperates!). Looking forward to daylight savings (March 9th) and our Second Quarter Report Cards will be issued/ final on March 21st at 4:00PM.
Of course, spring also means that MCAS is around the corner for our students in Grades 3-5 (The calendar is linked below). I'll send more information out on MCAS as we get closer to April. Just one quick note, a new law passed in December 2024 that removed MCAS as a graduation requirement (i.e. for High School Students). However, the law did not remove MCAS as an assessment tool and students are still expected to participate/ take MCAS consistent with how they have in the past.

-BASKETBALL OPPORTUNITY FOR 4TH and 5TH GRADERS:
Keep an eye out for a flyer coming home on Monday regarding a basketball opportunity in March for 4th and 5th Graders being organized by current WRHS Students (and former DHDragons).
