Hello, Trailblazer Families!

Monday will begin our second quarter of school! We are so proud of our students! They have worked so hard on engaging in content, exhibiting TROT behaviors, and strengthening their learner powers! First Quarter report cards will come home in Tuesday folders on October 22.

This is a reminder that when parents are bringing lunch for students, no more than two guests can be allowed to sit with them. Thank you for your attention to this.

There is NO school for teachers or students on Friday, October 18. School will resume the following Monday, October 21.

We are gearing up for another awesome STEAMFest! Please see important information below in our PTA Update section. Please also see flyers below about the Treehouse Pantry Hygiene Supply Drive and the Book Character Parade! The week of the Book Character Parade is also Red Ribbon Week. There is a graphic below for dress-up days, so you can start planning now! Have a wonderful weekend! Next week's newsletter will come out on Thursday since there is no school Friday. Get Ready for the Ultimate Night of Fun at the Annual Trailblazer STEAM Fest!

Mark your calendars for October 25, 2024, from 5 to 7 p.m., and join us for an unforgettable evening that’s packed with excitement! This FREE community event is where families, students, and friends come together for a night filled with hands-on learning, thrilling carnival games, and awesome STEAM activities!

From science experiments to engineering challenges, there’s something for everyone – and yes, costumes are highly encouraged! Plus, there will be delicious food and even more fun activities (some requiring tickets).

Avoid the wait and pre-purchase your tickets to skip the lines and dive right into the action. We can’t wait to see you there!

The Book Character Parade will be Thursday, October 31, starting at 8:15. Parents can watch the parade from our track. If weather turns frigid like last year, we will communicate out a different indoor plan. Please remember that the costume should reflect a character from a book, should not include anything that could be overly frightening, and must not include any weapons (real or fake) of any kind.
