I am a dedicated music educator with a passion for fostering young talent. A 2019 graduate of Indiana State University with a degree in music education, I began my teaching career at WD Richards Elementary School in Columbus, where I spent two years guiding students in general music and choir. I then took on a new challenge at Beech Grove Middle and High School, directing concert and show choirs in 2021.
Outside of my teaching career, I am an enthusiastic songwriter and performer, constantly exploring new musical horizons. Each summer, I travel to Nashville, Tennessee, to expand my creative network and immerse myself in the vibrant music scene. Recently, my Husband Billy and I embarked on renovating my family home and property in St. Paul, with plans to move in by next summer. Excited about the opportunity to return to North Deatur, I am thrilled to join the faculty at the elementary school I attended as a child, bringing my experience and enthusiasm back to the community.
