Message from the Principal
We would like to welcome our new music instructional assistant, Charlize Meek, to Cortland Elementary. Ms. Meek started on October 7th.
Upcoming Music Performances:
Veteran's Day- We will be sending a video to all parents of our students singing patriotic songs.
Christmas Program- On December 16th, 2024 the students will perform a Christmas program at 9:30 AM. We will record it and send it out to parents for those who cannot make it.
Spring Program- We will have a spring program on Monday, April 7th at 6:00 PM.

Report Cards Available in Harmony
Report cards will be made available to parents in Harmony on Friday, October 25th. Login to Harmony to see your child's report card. While in Harmony, please check to make sure all contact information is up to date including: phone numbers, emergency contacts, address and email address. Please sit
down with your child and congratulate them on good marks, applaud their efforts, and make a plan to work on subjects that need attention. This is a fantastic time to find out what subjects your child enjoys and where they would like your help. Sharing time is the best gift we can offer!

Girls Inc - Closed on Friday, November 1st
If your child goes to Girls Inc after school on Fridays. Please make sure to contact the school to let us know how your child will be going home after school on Friday, November 1st.

Fun Food Fundraiser for Seymour High School Bowling
On Sunday, October 27 from 11am to 4pm, Rockford Ridge will be running a fundraiser for Seymour High School Bowling. 10% of your purchase will go to help us cover our practice and uniform costs. Come on out for a milkshake and a Big Cheesy or maybe a hand breaded Tenderloin and fried mushrooms...I'm getting hungry!
