This week, we celebrate our incredible school counselors who go above and beyond to support our students every day! From academic guidance to personal support, their dedication makes a huge impact on our school community. The Student Activities Club co-chairs, along with class advisors and administration, have worked to establish clear expectations for the annual Fang Fest celebration. To ensure students are informed and prepared, these expectations will be reviewed in Advisory and discussed during Monday's Saber Spotlight. We’re excited for another Fang Fest week full of school spirit, creativity, and camaraderie kicking off on Monday, February 17.

Due to inclement weather, the 8th Grade Student and Families Night has been rescheduled to the snow date Tuesday, February 11, from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM. Don't miss this exciting opportunity to learn more about SHS!

This week on council we voted to bring back "Student of the Month" and began discussion on a proposal to open up off campus to Sophomores second semester senior year. Our next meeting will be Monday, 2/10 at 3:00 in the Info Center.

Semester 1 transcripts were sent this week to all colleges that students have applied to and listed in Naviance. Students are encouraged to update their admissions decisions in Naviance as they receive them.

Because of the snow day on Thursday (2/6), Senior Project panel meetings have been postponed to Wednesday (2/12), which is an early release day. Panel meetings will take place from 1:00 to 2:20 pm. Seniors can find their specific meeting times on the updated spreadsheet available on the Class of 2025 Google Classroom. The outcome of this panel meeting (pass/no pass) will be posted in PowerSchool by the senior’s mentor after the panel meeting. If you have any questions, please reach out to your child’s mentor or to Ryan Lemieux and Kathy Maddock, Senior Project Coordinators.

Local Scholarship Applications went live on Naviance today (2/7). Please see the direct email from Victoria with instructions on how to access and apply. Scholarship applications are due to Student Services Friday, March 7th at 3pm.
