A Bit about Chase...
Dr. Chase Young, a former elementary teacher and literacy coach, is now a professor of literacy and editor of Literacy Research and Instruction. Last year, he earned the A.B. Herr Award for his exceptional service and scholarly contributions.
Alongside his colleague Tim Rasinski, he also received the Diane Lapp & James Flood Professional Collaborator Award. His book, Artfully Teaching the Science of Reading, won the Jack Cassidy Award. Another book, Build Reading Fluency was a finalist for the National Indie Excellence Awards.
