Principal's Post
Dear Rainiers,
Thinking back to last week's baseball analogy, we are on first base. We are staying focused. We know that this upcoming week will take energy to finish up some big assignments and put everything in order. Thanks, parents, for being there to cheer the students on. Remember to come by to get a lunch, as our players need to stay fueled. We serve lunch from 12:00-1:00.
In observance of Memorial Day there will not be virtual school on Monday, May 25th. Teachers will email their weekly lesson plans on Tuesday, May 26th. Please take time to enjoy the four day weekend. Hopefully you can unplug from the virtual world for a few days.
Sincerely,
Allison Shew
Principal

Picking Up Belongings & Returning School Items
Families will have the opportunity to gather their child's belongings next month. During this time students will be able to take home gym shoes, school supplies, school work, artwork, etc. In addition, supplies students need to return will be collected including library books, textbooks and other school equipment checked out to students prior to the closure.
Upon arrival you will remain in your vehicle. You will drive up near the front entry and will be greeted by a staff member. Please inform the staff member the names/grades of the students you need to collect items for. If you have an item to return to the school such as a textbook, library book or gym equipment please hand those items off to the staff member working with you. They will ensure the items are delivered to the proper location.
We are in need of gym shoes. If you would like to donate your child's gym shoes to the school, please alert the staff member greeting you.
