Our faculty and staff are excited to see your dancers each week! This year we are especially thankful for all our families and the trust you have put in us for the past 73 - yes 73 - years! As our dancers head into midterms, shows and winter activities, remind them that dance is here to work out their stress, not cause it! We want them to come into the studio and dance their stress away!

HAPPY HOLIDAYS 2024 Come see our Holiday show December 6th at 7:00 and December 7th at 2:00 at Cab Calloway School of the Arts. We'll be taking you on a walk through a winter wonderland of snow, Santas, songs and fun! Tickets available in the link below.

Volunteers: We are still in need of a few volunteers to help our show run smoothly. Please see our Sign Up Genius to help. We truly appreciate it!

POP UP EVENT: Join us for an evening of crafts, games, dance, and more! On December 13th from 5:00-7:00pm! This event is for dancers ages 4-9. The cost is $25 per person! This event is open to both AMDS and non AMDS friends! Miss Bethany December theme is "The Polar Express" complete with gingerbread house making and more!

RECITAL: Costume deposits are now past due. Our recital is June 13 and 14 at Cab Calloway. Once you have committed to the recital pieces you are responsible for the full cost of the costume. The fee is non refundable. Deposit is $50 per costume. Child sizes are $100 each, adult sizes are $110 each. Our recital is optional, however, dancers who will be in the recital do perform both days. More recital details to come!

NUVO DANCE CONVENTION! This year we are attending NUVO in Baltimore, Maryland. The convention will be held at The Baltimore Marriott Waterfront. Rooms go quickly so if you'd like to stay on cite, call ASAP. There are other hotels in walking distance. All dancers are welcome ages five and older. The convention is a wonderful time where our dancers have the opportunity to learn from a variety of world renowned choreographers in all genres. Each dancer will take classes in all genres offered. It is not only a time of learning, but of great fun and bonding. Please call the office or email us if you have any questions.

COMPANY KIDS : We will register you for the convention, but hotel accommodations are your responsibility. (Your convention fee is included in your DU cost.)

NON COMPANY KIDS : We will register you and apply the convention fee to your account of $345 per dancer. Please contact the office no later than **December 15** in order for us to ensure your spot. Hotel accommodations are your responsibility.

SPIRIT WEEK: December 16-21st is Holiday Spirit Week! Wear your most festive attire and accessories (that you can still dance in.)

WINTER AMDS APPAREL: Deadline for "In time for holiday" Due December 6th. See below for our winter mech line! I think this is the best year yet! Samples are now available in our lobby for try on. The Deadline to order is December 21st and orders will be available for pick up mid-late January.

INTRODUCING OUR YEAR LONG COLLECTION: AMDS is now offering year long merch. Orders will be completed on the last day of a given month, and will be available prior to the end of the following month. This allows families to pick the color, style, etc and customize! Our first order will end December 31st and will be available by January 31st!

WINTER BREAK: Last day of class is December 21. See you on January 6, 2025!

DRESS CODE: Your child should be in proper dance attire for all classes. Shorts, t-shirts, and improper footwear are not allowed. Dress code for each style of class is listed on our website. ALL WILL BE ENFORCED. Please be sure that all clothing and shoes are labeled with your child’s name. Do not wear dance shoes outside of the studio.

TUITION/LATE TUITION: December tuition is due on their first lesson of the month. You can pay cash/check via our lobby or sign up for auto pay to be charged on the 1st or 15th of the month (+3% surcharge) Any outstanding fees that are not paid in full by month end will be automatically charged to the credit card on file (subject to surcharge). If card is declined the account will be subject to $15.00 late fee. *A $25.00 fee will be charged for any returned checks by the bank*
