The 2022-2023 Echo Yearbook, titled: "Paint Y[our] Story", received first place/gold award within the yearbook category from the Garden State Scholastic Press Association (GSSPA)!

On Saturday, November 4, Kaleigh Howell competed in the North I State Sectional for Gymnastics. Kaleigh took 1st on Beam. She also placed 5th on Bars and 4th All-Around.

On Saturday, November 11, Kaleigh place 5th in the state on the Beam.

This week's Student Spotlight is on Kaleigh Howell.

Fourteen Roxbury High School Choir students performed with the New Jersey All-State Mixed Choir at the NJEA Teacher Convention in Atlantic City last weekend. They will perform again on November 19th at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center in Newark, under the direction of University of North Texas professor, Dr. Marques l. A. Garett. This is a huge accomplishment for these students who worked hard to prepare and record auditions last spring in order to earn this honor. This prestigious ensemble is comprised of the top singers from across the state of New Jersey.

The following students were selected for the New Jersey All State Mixed Choir: Katie Becker, Rebecca Borda, Carly Curtiss, David Doherty, Jasper Fernandes, Julia Gonzalez, Jaiden Lenihan, Norbert Martinez, Justin Masi, Sam Rippon, Caden Scire, Riley Shivas, Nick Spivak, and Catherine Turro.

Thursday 11/30 = Winter Choral Concert

Wednesday 12/6 = RHS Winter Band Concert

Wednesday 12/13 = EMS/RHS Winter String Concert

Friday 12/15 = RHS Dance Showcase

Representatives from the NJ Music Educators Association named Mr. Hachey the 2024 Master Music Teacher of the Year. He will be featured in the January edition of TEMPO magazine and will be honored at the NJMEA conference. Congrats to Mr. Hachey on this remarkable honor.

The Free Application For Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) will be available in December. Once the application opens, we will send a reminder. Also, there is proposed legislation that would make completing the FAFSA a graduation requirement. If that bill is approved we will make sure our families are aware.

Members of our Drone Technology class provided a unique view of our Gael Cup pep rally a few weeks ago.

Report cards are available as of November 15. There are some updates to our report cards. You can find out more about the updates via Dr. Seipp's letter.
