New Course Offerings for 25-26
There are three new courses that will be offered next year that were not advertised to students during the scheduling process. If your student is interested in participating in one of the following courses next year, please have them check their email for a message from Mrs. Cantlon with a form for them to fill out expressing their interest.
* AP Environmental Science (10, 11, 12) - FULL YEAR -- AP Environmental Science is a course based on content established and copyrighted by the College Board. The course is not intended to be used as a dual credit course. Students enrolled in AP Environmental Science investigate the scientific principles, concepts, and methodologies required to understand the interrelationships of the natural world, to identify and analyze environmental problems both natural and human-made, to evaluate the relative risks associated with these problems, and to examine alternative solutions for resolving and/or preventing them.
* Photography (9, 10, 11, 12) - ONE SEMESTER - Photography is a course based on the Indiana Academic Standards for Visual Art. Students in photography engage in sequential learning experiences that encompass art history, art criticism, aesthetics, and production and lead to the creation of portfolio quality works, creating photographs, films, and videos utilizing a variety of digital tools. They reflect upon and refine their work; explore cultural and historical connections; analyze, interpret, theorize, and make informed judgments about artwork and the nature of art; relate art to other disciplines and discover opportunities for integration; and incorporate literacy and presentational skills. Students utilize the resources of art museums, galleries, and studios, and identify art related careers.
* Etymology (11) - ONE SEMESTER - SAT/ACT PREP CLASS FOR JUNIORS - Etymology, a language studies course based on the Indiana Academic Standards for English/Language Arts, is the study and application of the derivation of English words and word families from their roots in ancient and modern languages (Latin, Greek, Germanic, and Romance Languages). Students analyze meanings of English words by examining roots, prefixes, and suffixes. Students analyze the connotative and denotative meaning of words in a variety of contexts and the reasons for language change. Students write about word history and semantics in texts that require etymological sensitivity, such as Renaissance poetry or works in translation.
2026 International Travel Opportunity for Students
The 2026 HHHS International Trip to Munich, Prague, and Krakow during Spring Break next year. This Holocaust Remembrance tour will focus on visiting concentration camps and other Holocaust memorials and historical sites, including Dachau Concentration Camp, Terezin Concentration Camp, and Auschwitz-Birkenau Concentration Camp. This will be a small group trip with limited spots. Due to the intense nature of this trip, it will be open to current sophomores and juniors first. Parents may join a waitlist for any unfilled slots, but we cannot guarantee availability, and priority will be given to students. The base cost of the trip is $4,353. Questions? Contact Mrs. Monnin (kmonnin@hhschuskies.org)
Purpose Paradigm

Let's get Boston a Bike!
Boston's (HHHS Freshman) favorite form of exercise is riding a bike. While riding, he is actively engaged physically and socially. It is a great way for him to get outside during the warmer months and experience the pleasures of our small town. During the winter months, he is able to ride his bike down the hallways of HHHS. Interacting with his peers during bike rides is a great way for him to socialize while strengthening his physical body at the same time.
Cost of bike: $5,000
Boston's smile while riding the bike: priceless!
How can you help?!
- 3/24 through 3/26: 1st period teachers will have envelopes to collect donations. EVERY little bit helps! Some change, a few dollar bills, anything! The 1st period class with the most donations will get donuts on Friday morning, March 28th.
