Thank you, Dolphins for making it a priority to bring your scholars to school on time. Our start time is promptly at 7:40 AM daily. Students arriving after 7:40 AM are considered late to school. Excessive tardiness results in a loss of instructional time for not only your scholar, but for the scholars and teacher who are being interrupted by late arrivals.
We are thankful for those of you who choose to walk your scholars to class each day. Please be reminded that pajamas, and head scarfs or bonnets are not appropriate dress when entering the building. Our school is a professional environment and must be treated as such. Your compliance with this request is appreciated.
Many of you have inquired as to how you can further support Randolph this year. First and foremost, please be sure to join the PTA if you have not yet done so. The PTA not only supports our teachers; this partnership also helps our staff create extension experiences for your scholars. In addition to joining the PTA, please consider volunteering your time. We are seeking volunteers to support with morning and afternoon carpool, as well as lunch duty. In order to volunteer, you must be cleared by Fulton County Schools. Once you have received clearance you will be added to our data base as a volunteer. For those of you who are unable to volunteer your time, we are most appreciative of your in kind donations.
Thank you again for what has been an extraordinary first month of school. This is largely because of your amazing scholars of course, and you.
Let's have an extraordinary month of September!
In Partnership,
Head of School Wilson, Proud Dolphin
Grandparents' Day
Grandparents' Day is Sunday September 8th. Due to this being a short (holiday) week for students, we will not be hosting an in person Grandparents' Day event this year. However, families, please be on the lookout for your scholar to bring home a small craft to be presented to our Dolphin Grandparents. We look forward to an in person gathering next school year.
Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program
We are excited to announce that our school has been selected to participate in the Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program (FFVP) through Fulton County Schools. This wonderful opportunity will allow us to expose our scholars to fresh, often locally grown fruits and vegetables 3 times each week. There is an academic component attached to each fruit and vegetable tasting and this opportunity aligns with a number of the IB PYP learner profiles. Your scholar may opt out of tasting any of the fruits or vegetables as he/she chooses to do so. The FFVP kicks off at Randolph on Monday, September 9th! Don't forget to ask your scholar about the fruit or veggie of the day!
One Book One School : September
The book of the month for September is THE MAGICAL YET! The learner profile of the month is PRINCIPLED!
September is Attendance Awareness Month
Did you know that September is Attendance Awareness Month? Our goal is to achieve 95% attendance for every student in our building. There are 177 school days in the year. In order for our scholars to achieve 95% attendance, they may not miss more than 8 days of school. Missed school is missed instructional time. Missing instruction has implications on students academic achievement. Partner with us as we strive for 95% attendance this year.
Attendance Awareness Spirit Week is September 16 - September 20, 2024. See flyer below for spirit wear for the week.

Who Do I Contact at Randolph?
The relationship between the school community and families is critical. It is important that our staff is able to meet the needs of our stakeholders in the most effective way possible. We often think the first point of contact in the school setting should be the principal, however, there are staff who have specialized assignments within the building. These team members are often better able to assist more efficiently than the principal as certain requests fall directly in their line of duty. In order to receive the most efficient service, please use the "Who Do I Contact" list as a guide for which team member can best support you.
Infinite Campus Portal
The Infinite Campus portals - Campus Parent and Campus Student - provides access to information for all enrolled students in their household. Information includes grades, attendance, assignments, and school announcements.
4.5 Week Grades will be visible in the Portal after September 20th.
Note: Parents must register the first time they are accessing their account. All students have access to Campus Student via ClassLink.
Fulton County Schools Code of Conduct
Fulton County Schools is making its Student Code of Conduct & Discipline Handbook available online in PDF format (click here). Once you have read the electronic version and have reviewed the contents with your student(s), please take a moment to visit Infinite Campus to complete the Acknowledgement of Receipt Form.
School Nutrition
Fulton County Schools offers healthy meals daily. This year all Randolph students will receive free breakfast and lunch. Parents can load money on their student’s account for extra sales, view account balances and purchase history, and set up low-balance reminders by visitingwww.mypaymentsplus.com. Cash payments may also be made at your student’s school.
While we are a free breakfast and lunch school, parents who may qualify for free and/or reduced lunch must complete an application each year. A NEW application must be completed for the 2024-2025 school year. Free & Reduced Meal Applications are available anytime online. Visit www.fulton.schoollunchapp.com to begin the online application process. Families may obtain a paper application from any school cafeteria. If able, all families are encouraged to complete an online application.

Here Comes the Bus
If you do not know your scholar's bus stop times or location, log into our transportation portal for this information.
To do this, visit http://edulogweb.fultonschools.org/livewq/webquery/ and type in your street name and number (It works best if you leave off the Rd, St suffix, i.e. Cascade instead of Cascade Rd.)
Parents are encouraged to sign up for our free “Here Comes the Bus” app that allows students and parents to track their bus in real time. Alerts notify parents when the bus is just a few blocks away from the bus stop, offering safety for students and peace of mind for parents.
Arrival and Dismissal
- Morning car rider drop-off will take place in the front of the school. Randolph staff will be present at the carpool loop to receive students from 7:10am until 7:40am daily. Parents must park vehicles and escort students into the building and sign-in after 7:40am.
- Bus rider parents, school busses depart our campus at 2:25pm daily. The FCS Code of Conduct applies to all students transported by school bus.
- Afternoon car riders will be picked up in the front of the school. Cars will enter through the main entrance to the school from Campbellton Rd. Please have your car rider number ready in the window.
- Afternoon car rider parents, please make sure your scholar is picked up by 2:45pm.
- If picked up from school after 2:45pm, your scholar will be seated in the front office. Please park and come in to sign your scholar out. Parents who fail to pick up their scholars before 2:45pm in excess of 3 times will be required to either use bus transportation or secure after school care. Thank you in advance for your cooperation. Safety is our priority.
- Early student pick-up ends at 2:00pm daily. Please contact the school if in need of emergency early pick-up.
Should you arrive after 2:00pm to pick up a student, you will be asked to wait with the walk up parents until we begin our dismissal process. Please refrain from engaging front office staff with requests to violate this policy.
Volunteering at Randolph
We are excited to welcome volunteers into our building! We love having volunteers on a regular basis. Please remember that if you are going to volunteer at Randolph ES in any capacity (in the classroom, in the media center, cafeteria, or at a school event, etc.) you must watch the volunteer video and fill out the volunteer form prior to being in the building. Once you complete the training, it takes up to 48 hours to process your approval. All approved volunteers must re-apply for volunteer status every two calendar years.
