Looking Ahead
Hello Parkwood Upjohn Families!
Thank you everyone for helping support us through a great January! We are now gearing up for February and have a lot of fun activities planned for this month!
---
Upcoming Events
Spelling Bee
Our 4th and 5th graders will be working with their teachers to determine contestants for our third annual Spelling Bee! Four students from each 4th and 5th grade class will be selected to compete in a building Spelling Bee held on February 11th from 9:30 to 10:30 AM. Parents of those competing in the building Spelling Bee will be invited to attend. From there, the winner and runner-up will be invited to our Kalamazoo Regional Spelling Bee!
Kindness Spirit Week
We will have a Kindness Spirit Week from February 10th to 14th. We will conclude the week on Friday, February 14th with a spirit assembly celebrating all of our students who are working hard to be PURRS. Our PURRS motto stands for Parkwood Upjohn is Responsible, Respectful, and Safe! Our high school dance teams will be coming to perform for our students at the spirit assembly.
Valentine's Day Celebrations
Please look to your child's teachers for how they will be celebrating Valentine's Day. Each teacher runs it a little differently, so classroom teachers will be communicating directly with parents on expectations for that day.

Thank You!
