It’s hard to believe but March is just around the corner and spring break isn’t far behind. Before we know it, fourth quarter and the end of the school year will be here. As we head toward the fourth quarter, it’s wonderful to see how much students have grown academically.

Since Dr. Seuss’s birthday is on Sunday, March 2nd, I’d like to invite all students to dress up as their favorite Dr. Seuss character on Monday, March 3rd. I can’t wait to see all of the Dr. Suess characters on Monday.

We are preparing for our Read-A-Thon. Soon your child will bring home information about how to sign up and get sponsors for this fundraiser. Similar to the Boosterthon, students seek people to sponsor them for reading in the classroom and at home. The Read-A-Thon will run from March 17 - 31. I hope you, your family, and friends will help encourage our students to read by sponsoring them and helping us raise money for the school.
