Spring is approaching!

Spring Break: March 10-14

We hope everyone has a restful Spring Break. From this point on, things will be happening fast as we begin the last nine weeks of the school year. Spring is also a time when testing season begins. Mid-term exams will be administered right before Spring break and STAAR EOC/TSI/and AP testing will begin soon after. With all this testing, students may show signs of anxiety and stress. The counselors know this is a stressful time of year and we are here to support them in any way possible. Let's keep focused so we can end the year successfully.

LHS Testing Information

Attention Senior March Grads!

Reminders before the semester ends...

1. Turn in any district technology with charger and cord (iPad, Chromebook, etc..)

2. Turn in any district-issued equipment (athletic uniforms, fine arts uniforms/equipment, etc.)

3. Make sure all accounts/fines are cleared (ex. cafeteria, library, parking, etc.)

The LHS counselors received the CREST Leadership award for the second time at the Professional School Counselor Conference in Galveston, TX. The leadership designation is earned by receiving the CREST award for 3 prior years and winning the CREST Advocacy award last year. We are honored and humbled to serve our students, staff, and community.
