Three Generations of Cumberland!
We loved seeing so many people at Open House. Thanks for making time to come with your child/children. Children are so happy to show family adults the spaces they are in for hours a day and the Cumberland adults who care for them.
Cumberland’s Associate Principal, Rebecca Salomon, is out for personal reasons. As a result, Mr. Jeff Treul will be providing administrative support to students, staff, and families at Cumberland. Mr. Treul served as a teacher at Cumberland and a counselor at Whitefish Bay Middle School for many years. After his retirement from the District, Mr. Treul served as a support to the counseling and administrative teams at both Richards and the Middle School. Please join me in welcoming Mr. Treul to Cumberland starting on February 18th.
When the wind chill is below zero, we stay inside for recess. This was difficult for us last week when looking out the window we saw pristine snow and blue skies. The single digit nights this week will again make it challenging for it to warm up enough for us to go out. I have my fingers crossed!
Kind regards,
Jayne Heffron and Rebecca Salomon
