A newsletter keeping you informed about Batavia High School
Hello Bulldog Families.
We’ve officially wrapped up the last full-week of school for 2024 and will only be in session with students four days next week. As a reminder, Thursday, December 19th will be our last day of school before winter break. Please remind your student that December 19th is the last day of the quarter and to make sure all work is completed.
We will also be running a Flex Schedule A on December 18th and a Flex Schedule B on December 19th. Please reference the schedule linked into this newsletter and remind your student of these adjusted days.
We hope you have a great weekend!

Hello all,
With the Holiday approaching quickly I am aware there are barriers and hardships in all our lives. My job with Batavia schools is to try and eliminate as much of that as possible. I am here to assist in any way I can. If you need any assistance with everyday needs or just some help for the holiday season, please let me know asap. I will do my best to try and eliminate the pressures the holidays can bring so you can focus on the children and their joy. Please let me know what I can help with.

The FAFSA is available now!!!!
The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for students entering or attending college for the 2025-26 academic year is up and running! Any student that is thinking about attending any type of education/training after high school should complete the FAFSA - technical school, trade school, community college, public university, or private university. The FAFSA is what determines your eligibility for student loans, grants, work-study, and scholarships - thus, it is VERY important that you complete and submit it. Keep in mind, all students are at least eligible for student loans! We will continue to share information and helpful resources with you and your family as we receive it!
The Ohio Department of Higher Education would like to share that the U.S. Department of Education has announced that the 2025-26 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is available for all families to complete. Families who want to start filling out the FAFSA now can start the process at studentaid.gov.
For additional assistance with FAFSA completion, please visit itsforyou.org, and look under the “Looking for FAFSA Help?” section for more information
