Principal's Message
Greeting families,
This week, we celebrate our true heroes and heroines—the ones that spend their time planning and delivering the lessons to our children. But, thinking that the scope of the work of a teacher ends with lessons and assignments would be a complete understatement.
Our teachers are responsible for nurturing the next generation of global citizens to shape the world's future.
They help our children with their emotional needs; they are the ones that teach them not to give up in front of adversity. By treating our students with empathy, they teach by example, one of the most critical skills needed to improve our society. We are fortunate to have the most dedicated, innovative, flexible, and caring professionals at Biomedical Prep.
I want to thank our PTO for spearheading a week full of treats for our teachers and staff, and I will also like to thank all of you who help in any capacity to make it possible.
On another topic, we will celebrate our Field Day on May 18th. Again, your child's teachers will provide more logistical details on their newsletter and Class Dojo.
We have been working diligently to organize the end-of-the-year ceremony.
We will like to ask for donations of some snacks for the grade-level ceremony. We will send information regarding the items needed by Tuesday.
Also, It has been brought to my attention that when you read the newsletter from your email, you may only see some of the information on it. Therefore, I recommend you open the newsletter in your browser so that this situation does not happen to you.
Last, the final parent compact and involvement are now ready for your review. We will ask you to sign it later this month. The only change we made to the compact was to add language to ask you to volunteer for at least one hour if it is within your possibilities.
Thank you for being so supportive,
Sincerely,
Dr. Gonzalez
Thanks for choosing us!
Update-By popular demand, I have attached the flyer posted on Class Dojo

According to the Dallas Independent School District Director of Grounds and Athletic Fields:
You may see that the old structure may be removed this week as they will begin to pour the concrete for the new playground.
The equipment should be delivered the week of May 15th, 2023, and installed that same week, weather permitting.
