PV WEEKLY
WEEK 1 EDITION - 9/3/24-9/6/24
WEEK 1 IS IN THE BOOKS!
Even though it was only two days, it was quite a first week at PV. We experienced the new schedule, the opening Panther Period, and had our first 8th grade class meeting today (7th grade will be on Monday and 6th grade on Tuesday). It really was great to have the classrooms and halls filled with our students again.
There are many exciting events planned for this school year and we look forward to celebrating all of our students' accomplishments in the coming months. In case you missed the welcome back letter last week, please find it here: PV Welcome Back Letter
There are several important items in the letter along with sign off information for parents in Realtime. Enjoy the weekend and we will see everyone back here on Monday.
HONOR ROLL UPDATE
Please review the following update which can also be found on page 18 of the student handbook. Students are eligible to qualify for the honor roll for each marking period at PV School. The following criteria has been established:
High Honor Roll:
All grades must be 90 and above
Honor Roll:

PV BACK TO SCHOOL NIGHT
PV School is pleased to have our annual Back to School Night on Thursday, September 19th. The program will begin at 7:00. Prevention is Key will host “Hidden in Plain Sight” starting at 6:15 in the PV Cafeteria. This is not a presentation so parents can come through anytime between 6:15-7:00 or throughout the evening and learn more about the dangers of vaping and other substances. We hosted this at last year's Back to School Night and it was very well received.
PICTURE DAY REMINDER
School photos for Grades 6-8 will take place on September 17th and 18th in all Physical Education/Health classes. Please have your children dress appropriately, as these pictures will be used for the yearbook and for their photo identification cards.
