Dr. Boeger's Notes
Good morning Sperreng,
This past week highlighted an excellent week of learning for both our students and our staff! Be sure to check out our "What I Learned This Week" each week that highlights some of our courses in action.
Our teachers were also able to learn together as an entire district on Friday. We attended sessions at Lindbergh High School in the mornig and worked collaboratively at Truman Middle School in the afternoon.
Finally, this week's Dr. Boeger picture is a picture of my daughter and I just two weeks ago at a restaurant in the St. Pete Beach area while we visited her at Eckerd College. Sadly, this restaurant and much of the area has been devasted by Hurricane Helene. My daughter traveled home this week due to mandatory evacuations, and we are definitely sad to see the damage in the area and to her campus. We are awaiting word of when students and athletes can return to school and athletics safely. It is a reminder to us as a family to appreciate the access we have to learning, to school, to sports and to the places we love.
As we look to come together as a Lindbergh community this week for Homecoming, take a moment to be thankful that we have the opportunity to come to celebrate, to perform, to play and to honor the tradition of excellence in Lindbergh! Enjoy the spirit week, have some fun, and let's make this week memorable.
Take care and talk soon,
Dr. Boeger
