Highlights of the week!

Coleman Families,

What a fantastic week of learning for our Coleman Warriors! Students and staff are getting back into the swing of things, and it’s exciting to see everyone so engaged and energized. Our extracurricular activities also kicked off this week, adding even more opportunities for growth and fun!

Coleman Poms: The Coleman Poms team is well underway and preparing for an exciting performance on February 11th at the Pacific High School basketball game. Be sure to mark your calendars to cheer them on!

Soccer Intramurals: Coach Brammeier began Hockey intramurals this week, meeting on Wednesday and Thursday mornings at 7:15 a.m. There are still a few spots available for 3rd and 4th-grade students, so if your child is interested, don’t miss out on this great opportunity!

School Store Program: Yesterday, information about our new School Store program was sent home in Thursday folders. This program works similarly to Box Tops for Education, allowing you to support our school while doing your online shopping. Thank you in advance for your participation and support—every little bit makes a difference!

PTO Movie Night Reminder: Don’t forget, tonight is PTO Movie Night starting at 5:30 p.m.! Earlier this week, students voted during lunch, and The Wild Robot won by a landslide with 99 votes. We can’t wait to see families join us for a fun-filled evening.

Visitor Procedure Change at Coleman

To ensure the safety of all students and staff, we have updated our visitor procedures. Beginning immediately, all visitors to Coleman during school hours will be required to present a valid driver’s license for scanning.

This updated procedure is an important step in maintaining a secure and welcoming campus environment. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding as we work together to prioritize the safety of everyone in our school community.

Birthday Celebrations

In compliance with our Healthy Generation School goals, Coleman will focus on healthy celebrations. Student birthdays will be recognized on our daily announcements.

To comply with the national health guideline, we do not accept birthday or holiday treats.

*Every student at Coleman Elementary will receive a birthday pencil and card from the office on their birthday.*
