A Message From the Superintendent

Dear Fremont Community,

As a follow-up to our November 13 communication regarding a threat, we are sharing the Lake County Sheriff’s Office statement that was just released regarding the case.

We appreciate the collaboration with the Lake County Sheriff’s Office as they participated in their investigation that started Wednesday. Their thorough work throughout the evolving process helped ensure the safety of our school community. We also commend all of our students and families who swiftly reached out to our school administrators and law enforcement to bring light to the situation. The situation evolved quickly, and we are grateful for the systems and communications we have in place to protect our Fremont community. Please know we are continuing to work in coordination with the Lake County Sheriff’s Office. The District does not comment on student disciplinary actions.

We have our mental health professionals available to support any students or staff who may require this service. Again, we emphasize the importance of “See Something, Say Something” and appreciate your partnership in maintaining the safety of our schools and community.
