Reptile Review

Hi Reptile Families,

We hope that each of you are having a wonderful summer. We have been working hard to get the school ready for a wonderful new school year. Our theme this year is "Reptiles Shine Brighter Together". Get ready to show off your reptile pride with bright colors. Below is some important information to start the year off successful. We can't wait to see you all in August!

9:50 a.m.-4:20 p.m.

Students are released back to class at 9:50 a.m.

Tardy Bell rings at 10:10 a.m.

Dismissal 4:20 p.m.

August 7th, 2024

10:00am-4:00pm

This is a great day to meet your child’s teacher, get transportation bands, pay school fees, drop off school supplies, and/or buy a NRES T-shirt.

Please bring your child’s backpack with you so that we can place their transportation band on it to ensure a smooth ride home.

You are encouraged to bring your child’s supplies so that the first day is a lighter start for them. Check the NRES website for each grade level supply list.

The first day of school is August 12th. Parents are allowed to walk their child back to class on the first day. If you need support, our staff will be wearing black shirts.

Please allow us some grace during the first two weeks of school as we work through dismissal.

Bus Rider Information:

Each student will be provided a colored band that indicates the bus they are approved for. Additionally, students will receive an id tag that will be attached to their bookbags. This tag is how our students will check on and off the bus. This is very important for students to keep this tag on their bookbag for the entire year. It is recommended that each family downloads the Where's The Bus app.

Car Rider Information:

All families will be provided with two car rider tags. Please make sure that anyone that is picking up your child in the car rider line has this hanging from their rearview mirror. We know that the car line will be longer than normal, please help us with your patience as we work through our systems.

It is very important that all families make a decision of transportation and stick with it from day one. Our students and teachers are working on routines and practicing from day one ensures that all students are dismissed correctly. If there are any changes to dismissal, please contact the office prior to 3:30pm.
