Hello Monroe Families,

We are already three weeks into the school year. Routines and expectations are being established and students are doing great! Thank you for your partnership as we begin a new year. If your child has been sharing that they have not had a good start to the year, please let us know. Even if they tell you that they have told school staff about problems/conflicts they have, we have found that sometimes students have not shared info with adults here. To make sure we know, or if there is anything that you want to know more about, reach out to their teacher first. They will listen, respond, and ensure your student is supported to the best of their ability. If they need help from our Student Support Team, then they will let them know. We want each of your students to have the best school year and we want to work with you to make that happen.

Please note that when students have to leave during the day, they will remain with their class until their pick-up person has arrived and either called the office or buzzed the door. Due to confidentiality and students not getting picked up at their specified time, we can not have children waiting in the office. Please understand that if you need them at a specific time for an appointment, you may need to come a few minutes earlier so we have time to get them from their classroom.

For safety reasons, during school hours we will continue to limit visitors. Visitor Please remain outside when coming to pick up or drop off your student. Thank you for your cooperation.

If you are looking for Teacher/Staff email addresses. You can go to the Monroe Website and click on Staff Directory. You will need to click on the teacher's name, then you will get a popup window with their contact info.

When calling to change after school plans please email the teacher before 10:00 am with your change or call the office before 2:15. The end of the day is very busy and we need that extra time to get the message to the teachers before school lets out.
