CELEBRATIONS
Great things are happening at WCS!
On Tuesday our 2nd and 4th grade students put on their spring concert performing American Folk songs. We were also treated to the recorder chorus playing together as a group! We are so proud of all of your hard work in music class, and were delighted to see you in your performance!
LOST & FOUND
Remember to check the Lost & Found for any clothing, lunchboxes or shoes that may have been misplaced. Any unclaimed items will be donated after the last day of school in June.
THANK YOU
S.T.E.A.M. NIGHT & SPRING ART SHOW
This Thursday we held our STEAM Night & Spring Art Show. This event highlights the applications of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Math, and offers students a chance to experience these disciplines in an interactive and fun way with their families. Families came out and had a blast coding robots, making paper airplanes, slime, and marshmallow structures (among MANY other activities.) The evening culminated with several artistic and scientific prizes being raffled off. Student artwork will be on display through the end of May.
PTA NEWS
The PTA is hosting our Annual Spring Clean Up Day TOMORROW from 9-12! This is a family-friendly way to spend some time outdoors, meet some Woolwich families, and get WCS ready for spring! Please bring gardening gloves, rakes and shovels if you have them- we will have extras to share, as well as snacks!
We will be hosting our monthly meeting on 5/8 at 6 PM. We will be finishing up some end of the year projects, as well as beginning to plan a fun summer project! If you would like to help, or just hear more about what the PTA does at WCS, we would love to have you join us

Additionally, students in 5th and 8th grades will participate in the Maine Science Assessment between 5/13 - 5/24.
It is always helpful for students to have a good sleep, healthy breakfast, and punctual arrival to school everyday but it is especially helpful on assessment days!
