We are in need of all sizes of waterproof mitten's and gloves as the cold weather approaches.
Thank you.
Help-A-Husky @ North
The holiday season is approaching and we are starting to collect donations in support of our North families in need. As always, we will be accepting gift card donations, which in the past have included gift cards for gas stations, grocery stores, big-box stores, restaurants, online retailers, and home improvement stores. All gift card donations should be dropped off in the main office. If you are interested in supporting a family in need this holiday season or donating items other than gift cards, please contact our social workers, Amanda Wood (awood@d47.org) or Valerie Skala (vskala@d47.org) for more information. No matter the donation, we are appreciative of the support for our North Community. We hope you have an awesome holiday season! Donations of gift cards, food, etc., are accepted throughout the school year. Thank you!
Help Us Support Our Teachers During Conferences!
Our amazing teachers have a long day ahead of them on Monday, November 25th, with 12-hour workdays for parent-teacher conferences. To show our appreciation, the NPTO is providing a delicious meal from La Rosita, who generously offered us a discount—Thank you, La Rosita!
We’re asking families to help by providing drinks and sides to make this meal complete. If you’d like to contribute, please sign up here: signupgenius
Please drop off any contributions by 3 p.m. on Monday, November 25th. Thank you for supporting our hardworking teachers!

Introducing Social Mail-ia!
We’re excited to announce our brand new monthly newsletter, Social Mail-ia! This will be your go-to source for everything North PTO. Each month, your student will bring home this informative newsletter to keep you up to date on all of our PTO platforms, and it will also be available online for your convenience. Inside, you'll find event highlights, important updates, and plenty of opportunities to get involved. Stay connected with our school community and see how, together, we’re making a difference!

Just a quick reminder that the student directory was sent out on October 2nd! It’s available as a Google document and can also be found in an email from d47npto. If you didn’t receive it and think you should have, please reach out to us at d47npto@gmail.com. We’re here to help!
November NPTO Meeting
We invite all North Elementary families to our second NPTO meeting on November 14th at 6:00 PM in the Library. Due to the many opportunities to get involved, we’ve added this extra meeting! It’s a fantastic chance to build community, share ideas, and connect with fellow parents and teachers. Childcare will be provided, so feel free to bring the whole family!
We'll discuss important updates, including our committee progress, Husky Quest, upcoming family nights, the Outdoor Classroom, and your new ideas! Plus, bring a friend and be entered into a raffle for a $30 spirit wear gift certificate. Your participation truly makes a difference, and together we can create a wonderful year for our children.
