Hello Ranger Families!
This week we have continued to focus on school culture that will support welcoming classrooms and lead to strong learning outcomes for students. We have updated our Student Culture Book, which you can find on the EHS website and have included a document with a few important points that all students and families should be aware of. We encourage you to review this information and discuss it with your student, as well. We value your continued support at home as we work to support students in a safe and supportive environment here at school. Have a wonderful weekend!

Understanding Your Reimbursable Meal Options
Did you know that whether you pay full price or qualify for free meals, you’re entitled to a complete, nutritious meal under the National School Lunch Program (NSLP)? A fully reimbursable meal includes all the essential components: protein, grains, fruits, vegetables, and milk. By selecting one entree, one cup of fruit, and one milk you can enjoy a well-balanced meal that meets federal nutrition guidelines at no extra cost beyond your standard meal rate. Students may select more items from the salad bar as well.
Purchasing Extra Items
If you’d like to add an extra entrée ($2) or other items beyond the reimbursable meal, you can purchase these à la carte using cash or funds from your meal account. Please note that we do not allow accounts to go into negative balances for these extras—so be sure to keep an eye on your account balance!
We’re committed to providing nutritious meals for all students and making sure you have the flexibility to enjoy your favorite foods. If you have any questions, please contact the food services team.

Classrooms are Cell Phone Free Zones
Life is full of distractions that keep us from performing our best.
Our expectation is that classrooms are cell phone free zones.
The classroom is a space for learning and engagement in preparation for a student’s next step in life. Join us in fostering this commitment to learning by:
Talking with your student about their cell phone use in school.
Be prepared to set limits and to collaborate with school staff in making learning a priority.
