Milford Public Schools Community Connections Centers build bridges between families and available services within the community.
Serving all Milford elementary students and their families.

DATES: Week #1 starts June 23rd and Week #6 starts on July 28th.
NEW TIMES: 9:00AM-4:00PM daily (8:30AM early registration). There is no SPP on July 4th.
COST: $150 for the week.

Fun Family Activities In Or Near Milford
Family Fun Zone
The Family Fun Zone will take place from 12-2pm on March 16th, prior to the start of the Greater New Haven St. Patrick's Day Parade. Here you'll find children's entertainment & activities, giveaways, food trucks, bistro style dining, a family viewing area and more!
March is Orchestra -Month
Free Family Concert: Anansi the Spider (Sensory-Friendly Performance)
Location: Dr. Reginald Mayo Early Learning Center

Date :Sunday • March 16 • 3:00 pm
This performance will be adapted for audience members with sensory processing disorders and Autism. Audience members will be able to take advantage of the specially designed space within the school, use gross motor equipment to self-regulate, make use of complementary ear protectors and fidgets, and take breaks as needed. The lighting will be dimmed, and the musicians will play at a reduced volume. For questions about accommodations offered at the sensory-friendly performances, please email Engagement@NewHavenSymphony.org.

FanFest: Hartford Yard Goats

This free event is open to the public and will include behind-the-scenes tours of Dunkin’ Park, face painting, arts and crafts, Yard Goats mascots Chompers and Chew Chew, and Fancy Pants the goat from Circle K Farm of East Hampton.
Fans will also have the opportunity to test out the indoor professional batting cages that the Yard Goats use. No ticket is necessary for this free event.

Brick Fest-Lego
The top family event for brick fans will soon “assemble” in Hartford!
This event is all-in on imagination with stations and attractions designed to inspire creativity and play! Families can get hands-on with different brick challenges throughout the event as well as explore community collab builds and master creations from all over the world.
