Academic Counseling
Hey guys! Just want to make sure you guys are ready to review your transcripts! I have invited each and every one of you to a 15 minute google meet meeting. Please make sure you arrive at least 5 minutes before the scheduled meeting (if I'm not on yet, please wait for me as I'm most likely finishing up with another student). In this meeting we will go over: credits needed to graduate -OR- transfer back to your comprehensive school site (if there is a possibility), classes, goals, and any questions/comments concerns you may have.
IF this meeting might seem to go a bit longer than the 15 minutes scheduled, we can always schedule another meeting to finish up.

Here's what I need from you:
- To be in a quiet place
- Any questions/comments/concerns you may have
- 15 minutes of your time
Google Counseling Classroom

Career CafÉ
Looking for a job, but don't know where to get started? Maybe you need to freshen up on the resume? OR maybe you just want to do some career exploration? Well, say no more! Visit my career cafe! You can find this in your google classroom under Career Cafe.
Tips For This Week: Distance Learning, What You Can Do To Stay On Top Of Your Game
- Organization. I know, I know, at first we are all about it, but then we get so unorganized that we give up being organized, did that make any sense? A tool that could be used to save many headaches is planner or calendar. This way you can write down your assignments, when they are due, and prioritize them. You can also write down a daily routine. For example, designate specific times for breaks, which leads me to my next tip:
- Chunk out your "school day" and take breaks! It is very easy to burn out if you work all day without taking breaks in between.
- Have "me time" or a self-care day when you are not feeling your best, or unmotivated.
- Wear blue light blocking glasses to keep your eyes healthy and to help reduce digital eye strain
- Lastly, SHUT IT OFF! This tip goes hand-in-hand with tip #2. Set a time for the week when you want to shut off your chromebook and call it a day (JUST NOT DURING SCHEDULED CLASS TIME). Add it to your phone/calendar/planner.
