It’s officially National Board of Education Recognition Month!
To celebrate, our team came together in a special way. Dorr Elementary staff guided students in creating a beautiful framed art project and surprised our board members, and our Food Service Director, along with our new chef, prepared an outstanding meal for the reception.
This month is the perfect opportunity to honor our hardworking school board members and recognize the critical role they play in shaping our schools and supporting our community. Effective boards of education directly impact student achievement, and the more effective the board, the better the outcomes for students. With Springfield High School voted the #1 high school in Toledo in 2024, these dedicated members deserve special recognition for their behind-the-scenes work that has a hand in making successes like this possible.
